Property insurance in domestic and international transport

This is insurance of property (goods, cargo) in road, rail, air and inland waterway transport within or outside the Republic of Poland. CARGO insurance protects the owner of the goods against the financial consequences of loss, loss or damage to the goods.

The subject of insurance is any type of new or used property transported by the owner of the cargo or a professional carrier in domestic or international transport.

Insurance coverage includes:

• in the case of transport of property by a means of transport owned by the Policyholder or at his disposal under a rental agreement - the period from the moment of completion of loading the property onto the means of transport until the commencement of unloading,
• in the case of transport of property performed for payment by the carrier - the period from the moment the carrier accepts the property for transport until the time of handing over the transported property
• loading and unloading operations and storage may also be protected.
