Mandatory third party liability insurance for agricultural buildings

Agricultural buildings insurance is mandatory insurance for every farm owner (individual).

The insurance protects against the financial consequences of damage or destruction of buildings belonging to a farm.

Moreover, in addition to the mandatory scope resulting from the Act of May 22, 2003 on compulsory insurance, the Insurance Guarantee Fund and the Polish Motor Insurers' Bureau, the insurance allows for the extension of the scope of protection to include voluntary risks specified in the General Terms and Conditions of Agricultural Farm Insurance.

  • the possibility of insurance to a wider extent than provided for in the Compulsory Insurance Act
  • possibility of concluding farmers' liability insurance and other voluntary insurance on one policy together with buildings

Insurance of agricultural buildings included in a farm can be concluded in two variants:

  • basic
  • extended

When taking out insurance for agricultural buildings, the same policy may cover:

  • voluntary property insurance
  • Farmer's liability insurance,
  • Third party liability insurance in private life
